Discovering Barrow, Alaska
About a half year after graduating from school, I found myself running a clinic in Barrow, Alaska, the northernmost town in Alaska. I was a part of the Barrow community from 1997 to 1999. E-mail was just starting to take off, but video chat was nowhere close to being a reality. Calls home were $2 per minute with a satellite lag between sentences. My best friends were Stephen Covey, Good Will Hunting, Third Eye Blind, Titanic, and Sarah McLachlan.
Many thanks to Wendover Productions for allowing me to relive some of my memories of Barrow through this video.
