Alexis Fleming @ The Hospice for Dying Animals
From BBC Three:
In 2016, Alexis Fleming founded a hospice for dying animals. In that time, she has given end-of-life care to more than 40 animals. Alexis, who herself has battled serious health problems with Crohn’s disease, has strived to create a relaxed and peaceful home for these animals - which includes dogs, pigs, sheep and hens – so that they can die among friends. Just as with humans, Alexis believes that "until you’re gone, you’re here – so let’s enjoy it and live life.”
